The six inch long leather latch that tucks neatly into the antiqued brass riveted strap is both visually stunning and useful. Inside, the 176 cream-colored nicely milled pages will take ink exceptionally well and their heavy weight are sure to prevent show-through.

The cover measures 5.25 x 7 x 1 and the pages are 4.75 x 6.5 inches. The leather is hand dyed antique brown. The paper is of a heavy 5 mil caliper, is acid-free, has low-lignin content and bears distinctive deckle sawn edges.

The Antiqued Brown Monastic Italian Leather Journal is made in Florence, Italy from handworked full grain Italian leather. Moderate border details and four raised bands on the spine are nicely tooled but are not too ornate as to detract from the decidedly monolithic latch style.

Customization Options
Special editions of the journal can be made to order (minimum 20 pieces) with a name or logo worked into the design. Single pieces can be personalized with a name, initials or inscription.
